As a Biologist, Elie Raherison has been interested in bioinformatics since his PhD in Forest Sciences at Université Laval. For several years, he has used bioinformatics tools to analyze genomic data for the improvement of non-model plants such as conifers, wheat and cannabis. Elie joined the IRIC, particularly Lemieux’s Lab, and is now working on developing bioinformatics tools.
